How We Became the Most Real Company in Enterprise Software

When we founded Definitely Real Company in 2024, we had a simple thesis: the enterprise software market was saturated with companies that did things. We wanted to build a company that felt like it did things.

It started in a co-working space with three laptops and a whiteboard. On that whiteboard, we wrote three words: Trust. Scale. Synergy. Those words became our mission, our values, and eventually our Series A pitch deck.

The first customer

Our first customer signed a contract before we had a product. They didn't ask what we did — they asked if we were real. We said yes. That was the beginning of everything.

Building the team

We hired people who believed in the mission. Not engineers who could build software (though we hired some of those too), but people who understood that authenticity is a feature, not a bug.

What's next

Today, we serve customers across 47 countries with a product suite that includes RealSync™, TrustEngine Pro, and Compliance-as-a-Service. We're not stopping until every enterprise on Earth knows that we are, definitively, real.
